Victorian First Peoples Art and Design Fair

In February 2025, esteemed artist and Tunguwurung/Yorta Yorta/Wiradjuri elder, Glennys Briggs, will feature in the inaugural Victorian First Peoples Art and Design Fair Showcase Exhibition. This landmark event, held at the Melbourne Art Fair from 20 to 23 February, celebrated the rich cultural and creative diversity of Victorian First Peoples contemporary art and design. Curated by Janina Harding (Meriam Mir) and Dr Jessica Clark (palawa/pallawah), the exhibition will present new and recent works from 20 independent artists, including Glennys Briggs. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with artists through daily tours, talks, weaving workshops, and panel discussions, fostering a deeper connection to the vibrant First Peoples art community in Victoria.
